Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering excellence and customer partnership. You will embed directly with strategic financial services clients to understand their toughest technical challenges and help design and implement world-class data solutions using our AI-enabled platform.

You will whiteboard microservices architecture with client engineers, run hands-on workshops, and stand up compelling proofs-of-concept in days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software engineering, with client-facing experience in Investment Management.
• Ability to travel 20-25%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic client accounts, building relationships with architects and engineers.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures and business objectives.
• Translate complex concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with client teams to configure and publish data products.
• Define data product structure including schema, ownership, SLAs, quality, and governance.
