Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Cyber Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client teams and deliver cybersecurity and AI-enabled solutions. You will translate needs into technical designs, build demos, and contribute to runbooks and knowledge transfer.

As part of Deloitte's Cyber Engineering, you will own defined scope end-to-end, collaborate with stakeholders, and travel up to 20% to serve diverse clients. This role combines hands-on engineering with deal shaping and product direction.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development across frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Next.js).
• Backend expertise in Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and development lifecycle tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments.
• 1+ years of experience with GenAI platforms: Anthropic, Google or OpenAI including Claude APIs, Vertex AI, GPT-4o, etc.
• Understanding of AI system architectures and ability to align pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translating business and cybersecurity needs into technical solutions, including AI/GenAI-enabled capabilities.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues within scope.
• Partnering with stakeholders during pursuits to shape technical solutions, including demos and proofs of concept.
• Contributing to solution design and aligning client needs with delivery feasibility.
• Capturing delivery learnings to inform reusable product and platform improvements.
