Job summary

Deloitte’s Forward Deployed Engineers translate GenAI ambition into enterprise-scale impact, pairing leading engineering with pod-based delivery and sector expertise. You will prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions, collaborating with client teams to drive measurable business outcomes from day one.

You will work with leaders, product owners, and engineers to translate business problems into AI solutions, build production-quality code, and contribute reusable assets while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (CS, Data Science, Engineering).
• 3+ years in software/data/analytics engineering.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM solutions in client or production environments.
• 1+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP or Maven.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• Ability to travel ~50%
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align priorities and delivery.
• Lead working sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver working AI solutions using industry expertise and emerging capabilities.
• Contribute independently within an FDE pod and mentor newer team members.
• Build AI-enabled solutions, platforms, and workflows across enterprise AI platforms.
• Develop scalable engineering patterns, tool-use approaches, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, safety, latency, cost and model risk.
• Deliver production-quality code with strong testing, CI/CD, logging and documentation.
• Design extensible functionality, support sprint sizing and align with senior team members.
• Contribute reusable assets including code, prompt libraries, runbooks, and references.
