Deloitte's Converge for FSI team seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic financial services clients, turning data into actionable product features. You’ll design and implement world-class solutions using our AI-enabled platform, bridging between client needs and product direction.

In a high-visibility role, you’ll lead workshops, define data product structures, and collaborate across time zones to deliver rapid value while maintaining rigorous governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with client-facing roles in Investment Management.
• Ability to travel 20-25%.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic client accounts.
• Lead discovery sessions to understand architectures and business objectives.
• Translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Look at market trends and contribute to the Product roadmap.
• Collaborate with client teams to configure and publish data products.
• Define data product structure including schema, ownership, SLAs, quality and governance.
• Independently structure and clean large-scale financial data for models.
• Enable self-serve data product creation over time.
• Run office hours and targeted training for teams.
• Review client designs, identify risks, and advise on best practices.
• Coordinate across time zones (onshore/nearshore/offshore).
• Produce technical docs, runbooks, and integration guides.
• Accelerate client time-to-value by building confidently.
• Voice of the customer to surface gaps and feature requests.
