Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Forward Deployed Agile Software Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates. You will collaborate with clients to transform ambiguous needs into practical, production-ready AI-powered software solutions, including agentic workflows and full-stack applications.

You will design, implement and deploy AI-enabled systems, harness infrastructure, and ensure reliability, security, and observability in fast-paced client engagements.

Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade software (AI-powered apps, autonomous agents or agentic systems).
• Programming proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages used for AI apps and tooling.
• Practical harness engineering: design infrastructure, context, tools, permissions and feedback for reliable AI agents.
• Agentic workflow development: experience with planning, tool selection, execution, observation, reflection, recovery and termination.
• Workflow orchestration: graph-based orchestration and state machines coordinating agents, data and human approvals.
• AI evaluation and testing: design evaluation systems with benchmarks, regression tests and production monitoring.
• Understanding of AI systems: prompts, context, memory, retrieval, tool use, and model selection trade-offs.
• Observability and debugging: instrument AI systems to trace decisions and diagnose failures.
• Core technical foundations: APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud infra and modern software practices.
• Problem-solving and adaptability: turn unfamiliar problems into tested prototypes and production solutions.
• Product judgment: balance model capabilities, reliability, latency and cost with user experience.
• Client-facing experience: ability to work with customers and stakeholders and build trust.
• Communication skills: clear written and verbal communication of decisions, risks and trade-offs.
• Ownership mindset: curiosity, accountability, initiative and willingness to work in fast-moving environments.
• Flexibility: ability to travel occasionally for client workshops or on-site delivery.

• Rapid prototyping and product delivery: convert prototypes into secure, scalable production systems.
• Enterprise integration: connect AI solutions to client systems and data sources.
• AI safety, security and reliability: implement safeguards and fallback strategies.
• Observability and troubleshooting: instrument and diagnose complex issues to improve reliability.
• Engineering excellence: adherence to testing, docs, security, CI/CD and version control.
• Cross-functional communication: explain decisions and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge sharing and innovation: develop reusable components and patterns for future projects.
