Job summary

TribalScale Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge software engineering, AI, and client delivery.

You will embed with client and internal teams to rapidly design solutions and deploy production-quality software in real-world environments, acting as a hands-on engineer and technical partner. You will design AI-enabled applications, harnesses for AI models, and robust data pipelines, while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure secure and scalable products.

Qualifications

• Production-grade software experience.
• Experience with AI-powered or agentic systems preferred.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand objectives, workflows, and constraints.
• Design AI-enabled applications and full-stack products.
• Develop harnesses around AI models, including prompts, tools, and context.
• Build agent loops for planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Create evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, latency, and value.
• Collaborate with product, design, and security teams throughout delivery.
