Job summary

Akai, in partnership with Jobgether, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer based in the United States to bridge AI engineering, consulting, and product delivery. You will lead customer engagements, prototype AI agents, and guide deployments from discovery to production.

You will collaborate with mid-market and enterprise teams, design scalable automation, and iterate rapidly on real-world feedback to deliver measurable business value while expanding adoption across accounts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience; client-facing role with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, product strategy, or solutions engineering in fast-moving environment.
• Hands-on AI experience prototyping agents or automations using modern tools and large language models.
• Ability to prototype, troubleshoot, and refine solutions using SQL, APIs, and no-code tools, with JSON data handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations from discovery to deployment and expansion.
• Collaborate on enterprise deployments with senior technical colleagues.
• Analyze customer operations to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
• Build and deploy AI agents using AI platforms and large language models.
• Iterate prototypes based on real-world feedback and performance data.
• Contribute to product development by implementing smaller enhancements.
• Drive adoption and customer value post-launch and measure impact.
• Identify growth opportunities and support expansion across accounts.
• Share insights to scale delivery and improve internal tools.
