Montclair Pet Hospital in Oakland, CA is seeking a friendly Client Service Representative to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring every client and pet feels welcome from the moment they walk in or call.

You’ll schedule appointments, answer questions and support the veterinary team with empathy and professionalism. The role offers a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule, weekends off and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Previous customer service experience in a busy, client-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident handling calls and enquiries with a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets, creating a warm, professional first impression.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to enquiries with helpful, compassionate service.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and navigate clients' pets' care.
• Recognise urgent concerns and promptly communicate to the veterinary team.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information and update records.
• Support clear communication between clients, veterinarians and hospital team.
• Help manage appointment flow and keep reception area welcoming.
• Handle client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth experience for clients and patients.
