Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an Universal Banker in the Midlothian, VA area. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences through complex and standard transactions, and promoting digital banking solutions.

You will support sales and service activities, participate in IRM initiatives, and stay current on policies. The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and flexibility for weekends and travel if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to advance product knowledge for better service.
• Comply with internal controls, procedures and risk policies; stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, assisting clients and prospects.
