Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and build strong relationships with clients.

You will educate clients on digital banking, support outbound client outreach, and contribute to Integrated Relationship Management while adhering to internal controls and policies. The role requires a high school diploma, cash handling experience, sales interest, and the ability to multi-task, including weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling both complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls, checking offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training classes and web-based learning to advance product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay informed of changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent education

Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience

Six months of client relationship building or sales experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation

Ability to multi-task under time constraints

Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and weekends/overnights
