Job summary

Hylant is seeking a Client Executive in Elkhart to develop and grow a client book within the commercial insurance market. You will manage current clients, proactively identify new opportunities, and lead presentations to prospective customers. You will renew accounts, cross-sell, and collaborate with the Managing Partner to drive growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of proven insurance brokerage sales experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans to originate new clients.
• Build and grow a book of business year over year.
• Generate leads through prospecting, cold calls, networking, and account rounding.
• Develop and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
• Present solutions to potential customers.
• Manage client renewal process and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Co-lead a book with a Managing Partner and drive growth and retention.
• Represent Hylant at trade events and manage pricing negotiations.
