  • Monitor coordinator dashboards and address abnormalities.
  • Follow up with VA clients to obtain authorizations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Team Lead for our Home Care Services division. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities in multiple languages, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. As a Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of care professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality home care services while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Training Client Coordinators: Team Leads will be responsible for training new client coordinators, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and the organization's policies. They will also provide ongoing training and support to existing client coordinators.

  • Optimizing Hours Utilization: TL will make sure that all missed visits are promptly addressed, and caregivers are reassigned when necessary to maximize the utilization of approved hours.

  • Timely Visit Verification: Team Leads will ensure that visits are verified daily to prevent billing delays.

  • Assisting with Client Staffing: TL will assist client coordinators in promptly assigning caregivers to clients as needed. Ensure that open visits are put up promptly.

  • Monitoring Coordinator Dashboards: TL will continuously monitor coordinator dashboards, addressing any abnormalities in a timely manner.

  • VA client Follow-up will ensure that VA clients are proactively followed up to obtain their authorizations.

  • Handling Authorization adjustments and Terminations: Team Leads will ensure that authorization adjustments (increase, decrease and renewals) terminations are uploaded and processed in a timely manner.

  • Documentation Oversight: TL will oversee the accurate and timely completion of timesheets for caregivers who male use of telephony.

  • Conflict Resolution: In the event of conflicts or issues with caregivers relating to client care, Team Leads will step in to mediate and find solutions that promote a positive working relationship.

  • Additional Duties: TL will undertake any other duties assigned by their supervisors.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in home care, healthcare operations, scheduling, client services, or care coordination.

  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or training experience preferred.

  • Experience working with caregiver staffing, visit verification, and client authorization management preferred.

  • Must be bilingual (Spanish)

  • Strong leadership and team training abilities. Responsible for training and supporting Client Coordinators

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and healthcare scheduling
