Job summary

Kind Lending in Nashville, TN seeks a Retail Loan Consultant to proactively generate residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline to meet monthly and yearly sales goals.

You will network with mortgage professionals and real estate agents to establish relationships in purchase and refinance markets, analyze clients' financial situations, and present appropriate loan solutions in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and research skills; able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the relevant state.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages relationships to help customers achieve mortgage goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financial situations to propose loan solutions.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending standards.
• Understand loan origination process and coordinate with operations staff.
• Input and upload applicant data into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans in accordance with Kind Lending guidelines.
