Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States (Virginia) to provide timely and accurate client transactions and exceptional service while identifying and addressing financial needs. You will educate clients on digital banking and support sales through outbound outreach and relationship management, with expectations for flexibility in hours and travel as needed.

The role emphasizes adherence to controls and policy, participation in leadership routines, and ongoing product knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs as required.
• Weekend and/or extended hours with occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with a consistent service level, engaging clients and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
