Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in Blacksburg, VA to deliver timely client transactions, understand financial needs, and support sales with outbound outreach. You will learn to use self-service tools, educate clients on digital banking, and participate in leadership routines across the retail branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsabilités

• Provide a distinctive client experience and engage clients with courteous conversation while handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service delivery.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
