Job summary

Truist is seeking an energetic Universal Banker in Virginia to deliver exceptional client service, handle transactions accurately, and promote digital banking tools. You will support sales efforts through outbound outreach and use IRM strategies to tailor Truist solutions to client needs.

You will participate in branch leadership routines and ongoing training, maintaining controls and knowledge of policies while serving clients and prospects with a professional, friendly approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel possibly.
• Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and perform complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and client needs identification.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in leadership routines and training sessions.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies while staying updated on procedures.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
