Mission Pet Health is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Receptionist for Central Houston Animal Hospital in Houston, TX. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, schedule appointments, and handle payments while promoting compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointments, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
