Job summary

You will review proformas, train attorneys and staff on narrative etiquette, assist with budgets and accruals, and analyze client economics, collaborating with partners, clients, and matter teams.

Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of legal billing processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; accounting or business background desirable.
• 3–5 years of law firm e-billing experience.
• Familiar with e-billing protocols and third‑party software.

Responsibilities

• Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and prepare a summary for timekeepers.
• Train timekeepers on guideline adherence, narrative etiquette, and code usage.
• Coordinate best practices to ensure a smooth billing process.
• Prepare reports and analyses as requested by partners and clients.
• Review invoices to minimize billing and collections cycles.
• Act as liaison between clients, partners and staff to address needs.
• Coordinate efforts of internal staff and client personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
