You will review proformas, train attorneys and staff on narrative etiquette, assist with budgets and accruals, and analyze client economics, collaborating with partners, clients, and matter teams.

O'Melveny is actively seeking for a Client Billing Compliance Analyst in our Los Angeles office. This position is responsible for reviewing the clients’ Outside Counsel Guidelines to ensure that invoices, especially the time narratives, are compliant with client expectations. Key responsibilities include reviewing proformas and time narrative for compliance prior to billing, providing time narrative training for attorneys and staff, assisting with budgets and accruals, and performing overall analysis of client economics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively manage all billing matters with partners, clients, and staff, as this position will offer recommendations and advice. The Client Billing Compliance Analyst should have knowledge of legal terms and processes to effectively oversee the client billing.
The salary range in CA for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
