Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Regular, on-site Banking Associate to deliver timely client transactions and explain digital self-service options. You will support outbound outreach and IRM activities while maintaining accurate records and high service quality.

The role emphasizes cross-training for sales and service, compliance with procedures, and availability for flexible hours including weekends to meet branch needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Weekend and extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions and identifying needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and referrals to branch teammates.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to grow product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
