Job summary

Truist Lakeland is seeking a Regular or Temporary Customer Service Associate to deliver a high-quality client experience by processing transactions and providing accurate records. You will guide clients through digital banking options and support the sales process by identifying opportunities.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, cash handling experience, and the ability to multi-task in a busy branch environment. Weekend or extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle transactions while uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend sales and product knowledge trainings to advance knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay current with changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
