Client Administrator IV - Private Debt & CLO

Overview

As part of the Loan Market Solutions Division, the CLO & Loan Administration team provides trustee & custodian services to sophisticated loan asset managers. Wilmington is responsible for tracking and maintaining all daily activity, including the collection of payments and investor waterfall distributions. The team also monitors and reports on various portfolio compliance requirements related to the underlying portfolio asset attributes. Primary Responsibilities
  • Reassess and evaluate processes collaboratively, identifying, assessing, developing, and implementing solutions across the platform.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives regularly.
  • Support Relationship Managers with oversight of client relationships.
  • Perform daily cash application and position reconciliation.
  • Conduct daily and monthly tie-outs of underlying loan characteristics.
  • Liaise with auditors, underwriters, CLO managers, private debt managers, and other involved parties.
  • Assist with global asset setup and maintenance.
  • Handle trade and wire processing for daily trading activities.
  • Propose and implement innovative ideas to improve workflows.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of servicing loan clients, including account setup, KYC procedures, notices, reporting, and waterfall payments.
  • Adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain internal control standards, ensuring timely audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience with direct client contact, or a combination of higher education and experience totaling at least 7 years, including 3 years of client-facing work.

Strong focus on customer service, excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork and individual contribution abilities.
  • Knowledge of loan products such as ABL Facilities, SMAs, Private Funds, CLOs, BDCs.
  • Experience at a CLO Trustee, Loan Agent/Bank, Middle Office, or CLO Manager.
  • System experience with Clearpar, Solvas/CDO Suite, SEI, Wall Street Office, LoanIQ.
