Position Summary

Inside Sales Representatives play a vital role in driving Empower Pharmacy’s growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting healthcare providers with tailored solutions. This position combines strategic outreach, deep product knowledge, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) expertise to convert prospects into active accounts, fueling revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. Through consistent performance tracking and proactive engagement, the role directly aligns with Empower’s mission to expand access to innovative, high-quality, and affordable medications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proactively identifies new sales opportunities through inbound sales qualified lead follow-up, outbound cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and re-engagement of inactive accounts.
  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships with healthcare providers in assigned territories, driving sales initiatives and fostering ongoing client engagement.
  • Maintains accurate CRM records by entering new leads, updating profiles, and following sales processes to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Leverages deep product and industry knowledge to engage prospects, manage opportunities, and convert them into active accounts that drive revenue growth.
  • Monitors key performance metrics, provides regular sales reports, and consistently meets or surpasses assigned sales goals.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience in outbound sales, CRM required (Salesforce preferred), with preferred background in 503A/503B compounding, specialty pharmaceuticals, or areas like Telehealth, Men’s and Women’s Health, or Weight-Management.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe, ability to pronounce medical terms, and adaptability to work remotely or in-office.

Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry or sales experience equivalent.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalents; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
