Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP in Tampa or Dallas seeks a Client Accounts Specialist to partner with Billing Attorneys and internal teams to resolve client non-payment issues and improve collection realization.

You will monitor aged invoices, respond to requests, and coordinate with the Billing team on audits, reconciliations, and escalation as needed. This role supports professional growth within a large law firm and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of work in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of collection strategies and financial reconciliation processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with attorneys, assistants, and clients to resolve non-payment issues.
• Monitor invoices, credit balances, and aged unbilled work.
• Conduct attorney and client outreach via email, phone, or mail.
• Address collection requests quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with Billing team on audits and reconciliations and escalate as needed.
• Report delinquent collections and aging inventory to leadership.
• Assist with training new team members.
• Maintain regular work schedule during business hours.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
