Burrell Behavioral Health seeks a Client Access Representative in Piedmont, MO to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for clients. You will verify insurance details, collect co-pays, schedule clinicians, and ensure accurate records in a busy recovery services setting.

You will handle calls, referrals, and EMR duties while upholding exceptional guest relations. Prior experience in customer service and strong communication are valued in our collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and multitasking ability.
• Excellent organization and typing skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Reliable transportation.
• Successful background checks including criminal and driving records.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and verify personal information and insurance details.
• Collect co-payments and schedule clinician appointments with accurate benefit verification.
• Handle appointment changes, cancellations, and no-show follow-ups per procedures.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and staff to resolve issues during visits.
• Maintain organized client health records and balance cash daily.
• Verify referrals and utilize EMR applications effectively.
• Answer calls, direct inquiries, and assist leadership requests.
• Maintain a welcoming reception area and support quality improvement programs.
