Azusa Pacific University is seeking a Technology Specialist to support classroom technologies, staff and faculty devices, and event AV. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with hours varying by week and extra hours during busier times.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in higher education plus preferred IT/AV certifications (CompTIA A+, AVIXA CTS). The position emphasizes excellent customer service, inventory management, documentation, and mentoring student

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in higher education preferred.
• Professional certifications in IT/AV are preferred (CompTIA A+, AVIXA CTS).

Responsabilidades

• Provides excellent customer service to the IT team, the APU Community, and external customers.
• Manages equipment inventory (event A/V, classroom equipment, and University devices).
• Communicates status of support in a timely manner via email, phone, video conference, and in person.
• Maintains and updates support procedures and documentation.
• Mentors and coaches student employees in a hands-on discipleship model.
• Supports classroom and event equipment maintenance and training.
• Supports AV technology for campus events from request to teardown.
