Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Baltimore, MD. The route covers the Northeast with 2,000–2,500 miles per week, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Drivers earn $80,000–$110,000 annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Weekly home time, and compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time plus mileage pay. Health benefits begin after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste; properly secures loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance to DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

About the role:

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
