Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver based in Reidsville, NC. The role includes routes to TN/MD/GA with an average of 2,600 miles per week and a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Saturday shifts.

Compensation includes hourly on-duty time and mileage pay, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. The position offers weekly home time, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices and policies
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste and secures loads
• Places placards on vehicle per DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in city/state! This route runs from Reidsville, NC running to various locations in TN/MD/GA and averages 2600 miles per week. This is a Mon-Fri run, with an occasional Saturday based on business needs.

About the role

• Drivers average $90-$115K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
