Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Baltimore, MD. This route runs along the Eastern Seaboard and averages 2,600–2,900 miles per week with bi‑weekly home time.

Compensation includes all on‑duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay, averaging $200–$250K per year. Health and Safety are a priority at Clean Harbors, with equal opportunity and a commitment to providing reasonable

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
