Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team across Ohio and Michigan. This route runs to El Dorado, AR and covers 2,700–3,000 miles weekly, with 7–10 days out. You’ll earn $95–$115K per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and bi-weekly home time.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred or required.
• Ability to effectively use mobile apps and computer software for routing and logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer units and ensure loads are secure.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets in compliance with DOT.
• Adhere to weight limits and safety policies at all times.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Ohio/Michigan! This route runs from Ohio/Michigan and runs to El Dorado, AR and averages 2700-3000 miles per week and rolls for 7-10 days out at a time.

About the role

• Drivers average $95-$115K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
