Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional/OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety‑minded Cincinnati team. The route runs from Cincinnati, OH to El Dorado, AR, averaging 2,500–2,800 miles per week with weekly home time.

Drivers typically earn $80–$110K per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly on‑duty time and mileage pay, with comprehensive health benefits, 401K with company match, tuition reimbursement, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use mobile apps and computer software.
• OTR/Regional driving with long-haul routes and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles in a safe manner.
• Adhere to weight limits and proper load securement.
• Load/unload hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste safely.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements and company policies.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
