Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety‑minded team in Mason, MI. The route runs Mason, MI to OH/KY/IL, averaging 2,600–2,800 miles weekly with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off.

Drivers earn $80k–$110k per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include weekly home time, and compensation combines hourly on-duty time and mileage pay. Call 72-Drive for more information.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL and at least 12 months of driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for operations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste and secure cargo.
• Place placards as required by DOT and company policy.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and inspection reports.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
