Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in La Porte, TX is seeking a Local/Regional/OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-conscious team. The route runs from La Porte, TX to TX/LA/OK/AR and averages about 2,000 miles per week, with weekly home time.

Pay includes hourly on-duty time and mileage pay, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
