Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver based in Hebron, OH. The role covers the Midwest with an average of 60+ hours weekly and offers a $90k–$120k annual pay range along with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required or must be obtained.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more and operate load securing equipment.
• Proficiency with mobile apps and computer software used in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety remains the top priority by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units on designated routes.
• Adheres to weight limits and ensures proper unit utilization.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste and secures loads securely.
• Places proper placards per DOT and company requirements.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsementsAbility to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
