Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver based in Ohio to join a safety‑minded team. The route runs from Ohio to RI/CT/NJ and averages 2,600+ miles per week, with pay including hourly on‑duty time and mileage. A $7,500 sign‑on bonus is available.

This full‑time role emphasizes health and safety, loading/unloading of waste, daily logs, and vehicle inspections. Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, 401K with company match, PTO, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required or must be obtained.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for logs and routing.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units and ensure safe driving practices.
• Adhere to weight limits and correct unit utilization.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely and secure loads.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements and maintain daily logs and reports.
• Perform vehicle inspections and dispatch/trip documentation.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Ohio! This route runs from Ohio to multiple locations in RI/CT/NJ and averages 2600+ miles per week.

About the role:

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
