Job summary

Clean Harbors in Mason, MI is hiring a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join a safety-conscious team. This route runs from Mason, MI to OH/KY/IL and covers about 2,600–2,800 miles per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off.

Drivers average $80–$110K per year, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty non-driving time along with mileage pay, and weekly home time through this role.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; properly secures the loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
