About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our team of 200 company drivers ensures families across America receive essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

Our fleet includes 2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks with automatic transmissions. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L /96 W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, and an on-site maintenance and wash facility.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-based compensations. Drivers can expect an average weekly pay of $2,600-$3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit, with no hold on earnings.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some areas may allow longer periods out with up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon before hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop and hook. We primarily haul dry van and reefer loads in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver. Freight is mostly contracted, utilizing major highways and pilot/flying J fueling points.

Additional Policies

• Rider Policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
• Canine Policy: $500 fee per pet, with deductions of $100 weekly until paid, allowing 2 small or 1 large dog. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
