Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair and wash facilities are available.

Pay

- Starting pay: .55cpm - .58cpm. Paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other load-specific factors. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out. Some areas may allow longer periods out with additional days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook. Most freight is palletized dry van or reefer loads, mainly in the US middle corridor. No NYC, no force dispatch west of Denver, CO. No ports or borders. Freight is primarily on major highways and mostly contracted. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider Policy

- One passenger age 12 or older, available from day one.

Canine Policy

- $500 fee per pet. Up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid off. No refunds once pets are in the truck. Policy allows for changing the canine. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
