Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks with safety features, ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site maintenance and wash bay facilities are available.

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay is $2600-$3200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our area. Some may stay out longer with additional compensation. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special needs. We strive to accommodate personal events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. Other freight involves 1 pick-1 drop loads, primarily dry van and reefer (climate-controlled). Most routes are in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver CO. Freight is mostly contracted, with a mix of dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes; fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1. Pet policy allows 2 small or 1 large dog with a $500 fee, deducted at $100 weekly until paid, non-refundable once the pet is on board. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
