About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We have 200 company drivers who keep families supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 trucks, automatic transmission. Features include ergonomic seats, optimal steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site maintenance facilities and wash bays are available.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay is $2,600 to $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our running area. Some areas may allow longer periods out with up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed in writing prior to hiring and will be honored. Drivers can notify dispatch of their home time needs. Flexibility is provided for special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads, primarily dry van and reefer (climate-controlled) loads, avoiding slaughterhouses, fresh meat, ports, and borders. Freight is mainly on major highways in the US middle corridor. No dedicated routes, with some regional variation in outlying areas. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one. Pet policy allows two small dogs or one large dog with a $500 fee, deducted weekly until paid, non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
