Erie Insurance seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee claims teams in the Property Damage division. The role requires in-office leadership from Richmond, VA, with travel to Southeast offices.

The supervisor will manage adjusters, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate with leadership for procedures and outcomes. Responsibilities include performance reviews, claims guidance, and collaboration with legal and field teams.

Qualifications

• Six years of claims-related experience.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience using estimating software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operations of designated area of authority.
• Interview, hire, train, and direct personnel; conduct performance assessments.
• Review claims and reserves; advise on coverage and actions.
• Coordinate with Claims Manager on procedures and standards.
• Assist with trial preparation and external counsel when needed.
• Travel up to one week per month for ride-alongs and agency visits.
