Job summary

Erie Insurance Group is seeking a Supervising Claims Adjuster to oversee a team of adjusters in the Allentown/Bethlehem area. The role involves supervising, training, and monitoring claims activities and supporting the Claims Manager in operations.

The position is in-office with eligibility for ERIE's hybrid work schedule, requiring strong leadership, performance reviews, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and HS diploma or GED required.
• Six years of discipline-specific claims adjusting experience or equivalent estimating experience in a leadership role.
• Completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) designation preferred and applicable state licenses within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains assigned claims adjusters and staff.
• Oversees claims handling with the Claims Manager/VP, Field Claims.
• Reviews claims and ensures coverage and reserves are appropriate.
