Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead for Auto, Property Damage & Bodily Injury to supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff. You will monitor workloads, provide training, and guide claim adjudication while maintaining client relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, six years of claims experience, and a bachelor’s degree. Licenses and professional certifications are preferred. The position supports remote work with occasional collaboration across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Licenses as required.
• Professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and/or several technical operations colleagues for a wide span of control.
• Identifies trends, problems, and issues; informs management of procedures and ideas for improvement.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high cost claims and claims beyond examiner authority.
• Maintains client relationship and provides written updates as requested.
