Erie Insurance is seeking an in-office Claims Supervisor based in or around Richmond, VA. The role supervises claims adjusters and supports leadership in overseeing day-to-day activities, with travel one week per month for ride-alongs and agency visits.

The position requires managing designated claims operations, reviewing files for coverage and reserves, and guiding team development. Travel may be required to support Southeast regional offices and catastrophe responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus six years of claims experience.
• Associate degree plus four years of claims experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of claims experience.
• Completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) designation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and monitor assigned claims adjusters.
• Review claims files for coverage and reserves; advise on action.
• Coordinate with the Claims Manager on procedures and outcomes.
• Travel to Southeast offices for ride-alongs and agency visits.
