Qualifications

• Strong PC skills with Word, Excel, Outlook; paperless environment
• Ability to learn other software required for role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-directed and highly productive with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with high volume workloads and multiple priorities
• Strong desire for continuous improvement
• High School diploma or equivalent is required, some college is preferred
• Insurance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete daily claims support activities accurately, including answering phone line, taking new reports, and formatting correspondence
• Maintain understanding of departmental service standards, guidelines, processes and procedures
• Look for ways to improve efficiencies; communicate ideas with team and management
• Work effectively in a team environment; participate in projects and testing initiatives
• Demonstrate flexibility to support evolving department and business needs
