Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1+ years’ claims insurance or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP software.
• Exceptional customer service, phone etiquette and time management skills.
• Excellent data entry with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short memos and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Contacts insured and other relevant parties to obtain information for processing claims.
• Documents conversations or information in ERP and updates claims data.
• Provides information to insureds, claimants and vendors as requested by the Examiner.
• Processes payments and state mandated forms; assists in claim resolution and monitoring of payments.
