Job summary

WithCoverage, a modern risk-management company, seeks a Claims Manager to own the end-to-end claims process for a book of commercial accounts. You will report to the Head of Claims and drive intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-ups, reserves, and resolution discussions while shaping SOPs and client-facing processes.

In your first 90 days, ensure clean handoffs, complete claim SOPs, and establish trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial insurance claims, ideally in a brokerage or carrier setting.
• End-to-end claims management: intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, reserves, resolution.
• Sound judgment with clear escalation when needed.
• Strong client relationship and trust-building skills.
• Experience running client-facing meetings (kickoffs, claim reviews).
• Ability to build SOPs, reporting workflows, and training materials from scratch.
• Comfortable as a primary contact during urgent/high-stress claims.
• Persistent in pushing carriers, TPAs, and defense counsel toward resolution.
• Turn claims data into insight for renewal positioning and new business.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own claims end to end for your accounts: intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, reserves and resolution discussions.
• Run claims kickoff calls for new clients and monthly reviews for existing ones.
• Develop SOPs, reporting workflows, and training materials to support programs.
• Be the primary contact for clients during urgent or high-stress claims.
• Advance movement with carriers, TPAs, and defense counsel.
• Provide loss analysis, claim history, and renewal insights to growth teams.
