Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a talented Senior Risk/Claims Manager to lead complex bodily injury and litigated auto claims within the Last Mile Claims team. You will work with internal partners, TPAs and insurers to design strategies that contain costs and improve processes.

This global auto program role requires licensure, trucking/commercial auto experience, and the ability to manage reserves and KPIs while guiding cross-functional teams across the USA. Travel up to 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
• 7+ years experience adjudication of complex bodily injury claims.
• 5+ years experience in transportation claims management.
• Must have active adjuster license.
• Knowledge of the litigation process from inception to resolution.
• Reserve management and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Claims management of complex bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Work with business units to implement strategies to limit high value claims and contain costs.
• Develop strategy and action plans with internal/external counsel, TPAs, and insurers.
• Mediation and settlement strategy with internal/external partners.
• Field and address business partner questions through claims resolution as needed.
• Report out on KPIs and lead training to improve processes.
