Job summary

Travelers is hiring for a claims support role in the United States. Under supervision, you will assign claims to the right professionals, monitor workload, and ensure efficient utilization of adjusters. You will interact with internal teams and customers to maintain service excellence.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree, 1–2 years of business experience, claim exposure, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Excel and database tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1–2 years business experience preferred.
• Claim experience is desirable and beneficial.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Assign claims to appropriate claim professionals to balance workload.
• Recognize file complexity and assign accordingly.
• Review field support requests and assign based on location, severity, and workload.
• Balance daily workloads and reassign cases to maximize productivity.
• Identify high-exposure claims and refer to supervisor.
• Document information in claim system and update file notes.
• Maintain open communication with claim professionals throughout the day.
• For Total Loss, contact financial institutions for titles and lien info.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
