Job summary

HTU in Glendale, AZ is seeking a dedicated claims professional to guide clients through the loss-claims process. You will work with policyholders, physicians, attorneys, contractors, and others to resolve claims promptly, fairly, and courteously.

You will explain policy coverage, conduct investigations, determine the value of damaged items or benefits, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims by paying, denying, or defending policyholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has obtained a four-year degree.
• Experience in customer service in industries such as retail, hospitality, logistics, banking, automotive dealerships, vehicle rental, sales, or similar fields.
• Ability to make confident decisions based on available information.
• Strong analytical, computer, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients through the claims process after a loss.
• Work with policyholders, physicians, attorneys, contractors, and others to resolve claims promptly and courteously.
• Explain policy coverage to policyholders and third parties.
• Conduct thorough investigations and document facts related to claims.
• Determine the value of damaged items or pay medical and wage loss benefits.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties.
• Resolve claims by paying, settling, denying, defending in court, or recovering funds.
